Why apologize Dire? This is like the whole censorship debate - no one can agree so don't even go there. If people ( I'm not saying just Ian ) want to get all upset because all these topics aren't 100% Dead all the time then why on Earth can't they just ignore those threads and go add their two cents in on ONE particular show or ONE particular version of ONE pareticular song and sit there and talk about the SAME thing all the time. If that's what they want then who the hell is stopping them? GEEZ!

Oh, and if people want to feel sorry for Liam for ANYTHING then maybe they'll change their tune after they find themselves on the receiving end of one of his unprovoked trolling tirades like I have.

I was just feelin kinda bad if I played a rather large part in Ian's decision to go back to lurk mode. The dude's been very good to me during my time of disability, as have you and several others (you know who you are) - not trying to be sappy at all, just speaking Truth.

I totally agree with what you are saying though. Can you imagine if this was 100% Dead 100% of the time??? no fun, no learning, no broadening of our musical horizons, never mind other areas of our wonderous and varied World. What a great group we have on here (for the most part) - I for one am very very thankful.

Like the one he dropped on High Flow the other night. Posted it at around 1:30 am, I think there were 2 maybe 3 of us on here then. Skulking in the night... I had to bare MY fangs a bit on that one!

OK, nuff said on that, me be good now!

hey man,

censorship? upset when topics aren't 100% exclusively all dead, all the time? c'mon.

i just thought it was time to pull up on the personal attacks. if that's your kink, so be it.

Everybody makes a wacky post now and then. BUT, speaking of kings, Liam is the wackiest of the wack. Which is ok w/ me as long as he can handle it too.....never can tell w/ that guy. But some his tirade was some real funny shit...assuming he was being as truthful as he was before the resurrection....

I take it as a joke. It can't possibly ALL be real. He, wife and mutt all victims of tapers and traders...too funny!

I didn't mean just you. Sorry if it came out that way. It just seems there are some that really get all bent out of shape if things don't stick to all Dead all the time which would get boring real quick. It's a testament to the band we can all talk about the music as much as we can.

My badly made point was more along the lines of making a vocal public statement about it ( why not just do it? ) and me not understanding why people ( not just you ) can't skip over the things they don't like. There's plenty enough cool stuff to talk about here. Whatever, you have your reasons.

Personal attacks aren't my " kink". Hopefully I don't come off that way. I like to think I'm cool to people even when I strongly disagree. I have to say though that I don't feel sorry for Liam. I've been on the unprovoked side of his shit spewing. I like a lot of the subjects he posts and I like to participate in them but I otherwise avoid the guy. That's the route I take to react if provoked but hopefully not provoke.

And lastly - I've allways been nonviolent, etc. but this peace and love walking through the flowers business attributed to the band is a myth. While they all had a tendency to avoid conflict I know they also had a tendency to not take shit and say it like they felt it - just like everyone here.

No hard feelings I hope. Hopefully I wasn't any factor in this for you ( although I don't recall getting into too many heated exchanges with anyone ).

peace

johnny,

this poor beaten horse. let's kick it one more time.

never once have ''I' suggested taking the direction of the forum into all dead all the time. agreed, it WOULD be a yawn. i too have always subscribed to the notion of if you don't like something, change the channel.

my only point: i felt it necessary that someone address the virtual swarmings that are becoming more and more frequent. i'm not asking you to feel sorry for anyone. i actually have no i idea how you misinterpreted my concern over beatdowns to calling for an all GOGD format?

anyway, no hard feelings at all, with you, or anyone else for that matter.

ian

ok, I'm glad theres no hard feeling between you and me. Also, I wasn't trying to put any words in your mouth. I was just badly using anologies to make my point. ANyways, I'll put this to rest. Peace Ian
